09 Jun Building Leaders From Within: Inside Our First Core Team Lead Dinner
At Evantage, growth has always started with people.
That’s why we recently launched our very first Core Team Lead Dinner Meeting — a new monthly initiative focused on developing the leaders who help shape the culture, training, and success of our organization every day.
This wasn’t just a dinner. It was a conversation about leadership, accountability, mentorship, and the future of our team.
Why We Started the Core Team Lead Dinners
Every strong organization needs people who lead from the front — individuals who not only perform at a high level themselves, but also invest in helping others improve.
Our Core Team Leads play a major role in:
Training and developing new team members
Leading by example
Collaborating on strategies and systems
Providing constructive feedback
Creating a positive and productive environment
Helping maintain the standards and culture of the office
As our team continues to grow, we wanted to create a dedicated space where these leaders could connect, collaborate, and continue developing their own skills together.
A Room Built Around Growth
The purpose of the dinner was simple: bring leaders together to openly discuss what’s working, where we can improve, and how we continue building a stronger team.
Throughout the evening, conversations focused on:
Better training systems
Communication and leadership styles
Developing confidence in newer team members
Creating consistency across the office
Giving and receiving feedback productively
Building long-term leadership habits
One of the most valuable parts of the night was the collaboration. Different perspectives led to meaningful conversations and practical ideas that everyone can bring back into the office.
Leadership Is Always Evolving
One thing we emphasized throughout the evening is that leadership is never “finished.”
The best leaders continue learning. They continue listening. They continue improving.
By investing in our Core Team Leads, we’re investing in the future development of the entire organization. When leaders sharpen their skills, everyone around them benefits.
The Outlook for Our Team
This dinner was only the beginning.
Moving forward, we plan to host these Core Team Lead dinners once each month as part of our ongoing commitment to leadership development and team culture.
We’re excited to continue building an environment where collaboration, mentorship, and growth remain at the center of everything we do.
Because great teams don’t happen by accident — they’re built intentionally by leaders who care enough to keep developing themselves and those around them.
